SCIENCE MUSEUMS

American Museum of Natural History Scientific research and education institution, with collections of more than 32 million specimens and artifacts.

Carnegie Museum of Natural History The online site of this well-known science museum. Includes links to features, current exhibits and events, press releases, education and research, and the museum's policies as well its opening and closing times.

The Chicago Academy of Sciences Founded in 1857, this museum specializes in the ecology and natural history of the Midwest. It is located in Chicago's Lincoln Park.

The Exploratorium Hands-on museum of science, art, and human perception in San Francisco. Site provides interactive online exhibits and exhibitions, activities, science news, and publications, general information about the museum.

Harvard Museum of Natural History The public museum of three institutions at Harvard University: the Botanical Museum, the Museum of Comparative Zoology, and the Mineralogical and Geological Museum.

Lawrence Hall of Science Public science museum and research center for K-12 education at the University of California, Berkeley.
