kept because the Championships are rotated around the League.
Some clubs use 25 yard pools and some have 25 meter pools.
League records can only be set at Championships.
The 2003 BCSL Championships were hosted by the Elks - a 25 meter pool.

Pleasant Run Farms) keeps settings new records every championship! This year
Chris became the first 13-14 yo to break the 50 M Backstroke 30 second
barrier. The old record was set 26 years ago! Chris also set a new League
record in the 50 M Free. |

Meter IM LEAGUE: 1:23.79 7/1/1989 Ben Helmers, NLH Schwab, Kevin 10 NLH 1:23.67 * New League Record set in prelims. *Kevin broke the League record in the prelims - then smashed his own record in the finals with a 1:22.06 in the 100 IM ! |

Meter Butterfly LEAGUE: 32.10 7/1/1974 Dave Phillips, OX Majtenyi, Nick 12 RH 31.97 * New League Record set in prelims. Nick broke the oldest record on the BCSL books! *Nick swam a 32.02 in finals - only .05 seconds from tying his record breaking time in the prelims. |

Event 48 Boys 9-10 50 SC Meter
Backstroke LEAGUE: 40.09 7/1/1992 Brett Burns, WW Schwab, Kevin 10 NLH 40.32 *Kevin broke the 11 year old record in the 50 Back with a time of 39.80. He also set a new League record in the 100 IM and barely missed the 50 Fly record. Great Job ! |

Event 52 Boys 13-14 50 SC Meter Backstroke LEAGUE: 30.10 7/1/1977 Jeff Black, RH Fette, Chris 14 PLEASANT RUN 31.52 (Yes it's more than 1 second, but watch out) *Chris swam great in finals swimming the 50 back in 29.86 - breaking a 26 year old record! |
